Good evening all. I've been playing POE for some months now. After one of the last patches I had some serious problems with the game. Luckily, this problem was fixed with a small patch afterwards. Currently the races are going on and now my problem has returned. Sometimes when I play, loading into a new area (it does not matter which area) will make my game turn back to the login screen. It does not give any messages why. It just says, disconnected from the server. Today, in the 1 hour turbo party race, I had this problem after I raced to ledge. When entering ledge, I returned to the login screen. I was unable to log back in again so decided to restart the game. On restart, I received the message: Unable to connect to patching server. This will happen from time to time (on a regular basis). After some hours or so it seems to be fixed again and then I can play again untill it happens again. I've tried several things already to fix it. I also tried to login via vpn (this did not work with all steps followed from the thread). I checked all firewall settings and connection settings. OK, what gives? First I get these constant messages to enter unlock codes because "someone has accessed the account", stating it's in Attiki, Greece and that I have never logged in from there before. I have ONLY logged in form Attiki, Greece, since this is where I live. Second;y, I get really tired and frustrated with these disconnects, since I am trying to finish Lunaris Temple and the game keeps kicking me out when I reach the 3rd Level. I have run the same stupid dungeon 5 times now and I will give up until someone tells us the disconnect problem is fixed. I think it unlikely to be on my end since it only happens in Lunaris Level 3. The disconnect that happened to some users earlier has happened to me. Are you guys working on a fix for this again? I just cannot log on at all. I notice when a new update comes out (such as 10.8) my download jumps up and down drastically. 1.5kb/s to 3.5mb/s. This doesn't happen on any other program. At the same time I was downloading I had friends downloading and they were steady. I started before them and ended well after. So I'm thinking SOMETHING is interrupting my connection. Of course I desync a lot and have to <enter> /oos. a lot and often end up in another room or well away from where I was. It can get bad. Thoughts? Thanks! I get some crazy ping spike and my fps sometimes drop to 0 with some high pike of frame ms. First game i got problem with since i have my computer its an i5 4670k with 8gig of ram and a HD7870 2g. Does anyone have a fix or an idea? Anyone with the same problems maybe? I have exactly the same problem for quite a while now. Some days I can play without a hitch. In others, I have to pray when changing areas via Portals or Waypoints. Other than that, the game performs as it should. No lag spikes, no DCs, nothing.
