- first of all, pvp in poe is for sadomasochist. GGG hate us, pve players hate us too. If you invest a lot of time and effort you ll see your builds either nerfed or impotent the next 2 patches.

That being said if you survive the first weeks of searching for duels and getting only a few random level 60 guys who miss clicked the event and pvp panels , you might actually get hooked.

Bottom line: do not invest too much in pvp.

I am also biased toward HLD so if your goal is LLD the links I will give you won t help you much.

Anyway you can look there

for tips and some outdated informations, I still linked this old thread because Markusz pvp calculator is still working and great tool.

You can go on this discord

https://discord.com/invite/zBpfweq the pvp section is atm the one with the most users around.

You can try to join a pvp guild they will help you too.

ATM I know of 2 very active but maybe some other players here will post some other.

SWAGOO
is recruiting even new players so It might be the better one to start:

The other guild IVYS+1 is more selective.

Finaly there is also Aliac s Blog about pvp and formula you want to study:

Pretty much it.

Best thing to do is find other pvp'ers and ask to 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, CTF ... etc.

No point in Queueing for 1v1 since it's pretty rare to get a match. Asking for matches in global yields mixed results.

You're going to lose a lot at first, especially against experienced pvpers... but don't despair, many, if not most, will offer advice to improve your build.

Joining a guild is also an options - as there are open recruitments for begnners... I'd say a lot of pvpers don't mind beginners since teaching PvP can be a learning experience to even the most 'veteran' of pvp'ers.

Good luck!
Thanks for all of the information, much appreciated.
