you are right.. higher single damage mitigates armor more then more attacks of lesser damage.

I still believe in fast attack speed.. works better with leeching from my experience

I recently upgraded my weapon :) (my old sword is the last post on page 1 of this topic)

Certainly far from some/most weapon here, but still the best sword i found untill now:

(I'm working on the links - i would love to get Double strike + Melee physical + Added fire + Weapon ele + Melee splash in the sword (3 of those gems would get +2 to their lvl))

The way how armor works in this game, if you're planning to dish out most of your damage through physical, stick with a Karui Maul or a Karui Chopper. If not, get a Marohi.

I feel any melee weapon that isn't made for elemental specs should have their damage as high as possible.

While it is possible, it is incredibly hard to beat a 6-linked Marohi(essentially a 7-Link) or a Voidhome(assuming you're level 100).

Voidhome might be more catered towards PvP in my honest opinion.

Looking at the skill tree, if you were rational, and optimizing your build, you wouldn't use anything other than a 2H Maul. Reason being is mace nodes are more easily accessible and you get more damager/node invested.

eg. How many nodes are there for Swords, Axes, and Staves that are more than 10%.

Answer should be very obvious.

Been doing about 9 attacks per second with this and double strike. Around 6k dps at level 66.

its not high-end, but a 2800 dps heavystrike with a lvl 55 is nice to have.

Found this one, quite insane for that level.
