Not sure why you'd compare drinking potions in a game to robing a bank. I think you take the game a bit too serious.

And yet you think flasks were designed with the express intent of enticing people to cheat at a game that bans you for using that cheat? Okay.

Their duration is extremely low and they refill extremely quick. They are powerful enough that you want them active most the time and have no cooldown. Most people will look for an easier way to do things, remember when you couldn't cast spells with left click?

I vaguely remember some of them applying fusings to items at 10 fusings per second or so, which doesn't seem possible with a normal mouse and no autoclicker - certainly isn't possible for me.

You can scroll wheel fuse things fast.
I think since you got multiple lvl 100 chars and 7 yr account they will probably show some mercy.

Lol, streamers are using rmt, auto log out, macro flasks, trading scripts, but ggg is banning non streamers. Thank god i quitted this game for sure!!

any proof?

since when has any reasonable online game allowed you to use third party bot software? I also don't believe for a second they were only using 1 button press with AHK, you don't need AHK for that. AHK is for very low level, easy to detect botting. good riddance, play another game if you need something else to play it for you

They cannot provide proof without violating forum guidelines, so please don't try and bait people into probation. That's fucking low even for you.

Secondly, you can view the top PoE streamer on a daily basis, using trade scripts and auto-logout in every play session. Unfortunately for him, the logout doesn't save him all the time.

Why are OP saying the macro only does one server-side action, while at the same time showing us it does multiple actions?

It's a good point, which a couple others also brought up, but in fairness if the actions are not server side they don't really "count" which gets into some grey area (like auto-logout)

However the OP never did say what the heck the macro/script actually did, so it's kinda a guessing game for the rest of us.

I think the auto logout fits within their rules because the only thing sent to the servers is the logout. The rest is client side, so not being sent to the server.

As for the debate, even though it looks pretty obvious that the OP thinks one click sending multiple actions is okay if they are spaced out (it's not), it could just be solved by him posting the code. Simple.
Thanks for all the fish!

It smells like a warcry script.

Pressing Q for Warcry 1
Wait the correct amount of milliseconds
Pressing W for warcry 2
Wait the correct amount of milliseconds
Pressing E for warcry 3

Or - of course - flasks. One button, three+ actions, ban. Seems pretty straight forward.

Don't know, this philosophy, forced frequent clicking is pretty stupid imo.
I mean, it might be obvious what im writting, but what does this 1 action restriction exactly add to the game? If player wants he can spam skills/flasks, and in exchange destroy his wrist for what? Is it praiseworthy player skill to smash buttons over and over? Its outdated gameplay imo.

Couldn't they let us bind same button to multiple functions in menu? Or toggle auto
use when available (similar to aura activation)?

skill...it takes skill to do things yourself...at least some.
