I deleted my first character to start again after doing a heist but on the new character called the same as my previous one it shows the quest to hand in the heist item I don't have.

How do I get it when it says I already have it? Can I do the heist again?

Maybe you need to be more explicit. What exactly does the quest say to hand in? Every heist has a thing at the end to turn in.
