graphics card issue

Hey guys, so i have an issue with my graphics card not being picked up in the options menu during the game. I have 2 gpu's in my laptop. The Intel HD mobile one and the Radeon HD 6770m gpu (the one i want to use.) However, only the intel gpu shows up under the adapter portion of the options menu. Is there a way i can get it to recognize the 6770m?

Doesnt the Radeon only enable when a 3D program calls it?
If so, I wonder what happens if you Disable the Intel Chip...Try in the BIOS first, then try it through the Device Manager. OS: WinXP SP2 32bit

Im not a computer wiz so i dont know if the Radeon enables in a 3D environment only or not..
will disabling the Intel harm my laptop in anyway? | |

Sounds like switchable GPU like in some newer notebooks to me... then there should be a tool to assign the client to the ATI GPU I'd assume.
Other idea: make another user profile just for playing, where you disable the intel GPU? invited by timer @ 10.12.2011
