Lost Silk's Spear

A couple weeks ago (more or less) I was able to destroy Silk's Spear (at Act 2). If I remember correctly, I just dropped to the floor outside town and destroyed it (aye, my bad, should've read the text).

Now I'm unable to complete "The Ancient Tree" quest. Is there a way to get the spear again? Silk doesn't give it to me again.
