Why are you spelling "Artefact" incorrectly? Isn't a bit insane to double down on "focussed" as a borderline non-standard spelling and then use the American spelling of "Artifact"?

As an American, I approve of this spelling choice lol. Actually never noticed the spelling of "focussed" before, but now that you mention it, it's quite...interesting.
League has content already better than Harvest.
I love this league already.

What actions affect the alert level?
Alert level is affected by killing guards, opening reward chests, opening side passages and some Rogues when performing their specialised skills. Killing enemies has a small effect on the alert level, while opening side passages and chests can result in larger increases. This means that the main thing you'll need to consider is how much loot you'll want to gather before you reach the Artifact. We have intentionally designed the league so that you can still kill a lot of monsters and earn a lot of items without worrying about this too much.

In the end, what you kill all the enemies with the 50M DPS zoom zoom build and get only the artifact is most effective, which seems. Even the guards when reaches the maximum alert may be just exp globes for them.

I'm sad that to play carefully is not benefit.
Thanks for the read, it is good to have all this information at a single place. Can't wait to try it out, damn so long till then...

How long are Heists on average? One contract per area means it will slow down the campaign by a LOT. In maps it's not too bad you can pool them and run them later but in the campaign you'll quickly outlevel them if you don't run them.

As usual league content while leveling is a newb trap. You're meant to speed run the campaign, sell stuff constantly and early, and then spend the rest of the league running a pawnshop.

Trade, speed clear meta, with a heist specific char bought later.

In other words same as every league since they introduced the labyrinth and ascendancies.

If you're not a streamer, you're little people.

I would of preferred instead of the sneak idea, to have the enemies grow in power/defense as the bar filled up, and if you build couldn't take it you die and walk out with nothing...Seams odd to me, we go around killing gods, endgame bosses, etc...only to sneak to get something...why...technically you could just kill everyone and take what you want with nobody left alive to stop you...

Because the game abandoned thematic and logical consistency AGES ago. I mean you time travel with the waypoints and the npcs don't seem to know they exist. The whole poe world is dead and meaningless.

I mean jesus where is all the junk coming from? Why can a spider cough up a full suit of armor? Why can't I commission a blacksmith to build me an item to spec? What stops the monsters from swarming towns? That list just goes on forever.

I would not be surprised if the eventual meta is to run straight for the artefact, regardless of the setup conditions, and not kill anything that is out of your immediate vicinity. Repeat.

Sounds familiar.

For sure. This is the most forced meta league ever. The item mods are too complicated for me to memorize and theory craft with so I can't say what that meta is for sure. (I'm sure the streamers and cultists already know.)

But it sound like a raider league to me. Crazy run speed, evasion, phasing, single target DPS. Cherry pic the chests, ignore mobs.

"What happens when you reach maximum alert level?
When you reach the maximum alert level, you'll trigger the alarm. You'll have a brief window to steal as much as you can, including the Artifact if you're close enough, before the facility goes into lockdown and you're swarmed by guards. When the facility is in lockdown you can't steal anything else. You can still escape with the goods you already have if you can fight your way through the guards.

If you didn't manage to get the Artifact but still managed to escape, then you won't be able to turn a profit on your markers but you'll still get to keep the other goods you stole. You also won't gain any experience on your Rogue Skill or gather intel for revealing portions of Grand Heists.

If you just want regular Path of Exile items and don't want to engage heavily in running Heists, it's a viable strategy to simply begin the Heist, steal as much as you can until you reach the alert level cap and then make your escape.

Note that when you steal the Artifact, you'll automatically trigger the alarm."
