Delve Cart does not slow down or stop

As of today, my delve cart has not been slowing down or stop when I go into the darkness (to, for example, break a wall). If I trail behind the cart, it continues at its normal/full speed.

This makes it impossible to go into any side areas while delving, as the cart ends up so far away that I would likely not be able to catch up.
