The game trading system?

What is the trading system in the game, both NPC's and other players? Since I found no gold, what is called the currency?

Yes, you can trade with NPCs and with other players. The currency consists of the orbs and scrolls that you find.

We have large trade-system plans that are underway. Although we haven't discussed the specifics publicly yet, we've mentioned that it's integrated with the website. Our plan is that people can trade items without having to load the game client (good luck getting any work or study done now!)

I can't believe i spend a whole day trading in Age of Empire Online because I want some time off from doing quests or slaying thousand of AI xD

I think POE should add a few hundred thousand of items, this including crafting so those enjoy barter and looking for a bargain on a specic rare could do some trading as instead of killing scripted ai all day long xD
