ya for sure the worst is that the fog doesn't spawn when you get to the boss/start the boss. including guardians or elder guardians etc. you gotta wait for elder to do the sucky sucky then you gotta wait for elder to spit out his sucky sucky and spawn the dude....its basically impossible.

i'd like it if fog paused when you go to the boss, but otherwise i have no issues with it. the fog pauses with alvas, breaches, blights etc and thats perfectly fine for me.

after all i don't watch a video of a guy getting 140 splinters on choice footage from days of streaming and then immediately make that my expectation for every map i do in this league.

run delirium on indoor maps, like Cells.

God Almighty, Diablo 4 can't come soon enough

It's sad because I want to play PoE. There are a bunch of builds I want to try out. The cluster jewels are spot on. It's just this delirium mechanic that drives me away. It's hard to just not engage with it since your missing out on so much by not doing it.

So I'm taking a break, playing some Doom Eternal and other games I need to catch up on. Hopefully next league is something better. Curious how they will implement this. I can't see the base mechanic making it into core unless it is reworked at this point. I can see delirium orbs being a thing and of course the cluster jewels will go core even if they are no longer part of delirium.

idk man, they are pretty busted even by busted standards. The unique jewels sure, but I don't think they should add the rares.

I agree. Even though I like the league for what it is, maybe mostly because I'm bored - forced to be home, 3 months of stressed gameplay where you're always pushed to go faster and further based on a timer, is... Well... Too stressful.

I liked this league but I quit it at the 3-week mark because, well, it became stressful.

I picked up grim dawn (yeah, I know, finally) and just finished act 7 normal moving on to Elite. It's fun but I can see the limits of its replayability, frankly it's just too slow of a game for me to want to play to level 100 more than once (but I will be playing through the end of Ultimate at least).


I really, really hope Diablo 4 ends up good. Based on what the fans of D3 demand when they come here, I doubt it will be anywhere near as good as D2, but at this point, I'll take as low as "endless farmability and just a few actually deep endgame mechanics". As long as it's not "grindy arcade button masher" like D3, I may end up letting PoE go if it keeps going in this same direction.

The greed is too strong with these people. It very easy to reach 4/2. Then it is your choice to stress, rip, backtrack for that 5/3/1. Instead just do 3 maps instead of 2 with backtrack. Map are free anyway.

Well I for one am congratulating GGG. Simply for pushing players to there limit. With drops that give insane amounts of currency if you take 2 seconds and use your identification scrolls. As well as double the mobs and AOE per map. Running through the acts never has been an exciting rush (end game maps included). Too each there own though, this league is not for everyone.
