Please try open a command prompt and use this command to run the installer:
msiexec /i "C:\path to\PathOfExileInstaller.msi" WIXUI_DONTVALIDATEPATH="1" replacing "C:\path to" with the actual location of your installer. | |

hi i have disabled firewall, av, i have 187 GB free on my hard drive,
i ran msiexec through command prompt ( administrator allowed) using vista system . Still getting the same problem "Installation directory must beon a local hard drive" |
