" Additionally, please make sure that Shader Cache is enabled in your Nvidia or AMD graphics control panel settings. Since yesterday, I struggle with this. I use AMD Radeon RX 480, and the new version of software don't give me any control of shader os buffer of any kind (only to reset the cache or to apply a buffer to Open GL aplications). I do believe, by reading the second page, that shadder buffer is enabled by default. Right now I just hope that it is the case... It's actually quite simple to toggle as long as you know what you are looking for. Open Regedit.exe, go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4d36e968-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}\0000\UMD, then change "ShaderCache" from "30 00" or "31 00" to "32 00". (30 00 = off / 31 00 = AMD Optimized / 32 00 = Always On). Save and Reboot. It works like a charm and you can keep it Always On if you feel like it, as AMD optimized will set it to ON only for AMD sanctioned profiles with certainty. Hope that helps all AMD users with the new interface. ^^ PSS: Our almighty TencentGGG overlords are very scrupulous regarding criticizing their abilities to take proper decisions and consider everything "needlessly harsh and condescending"...
