[3.9] Low Life Essence Drain/Contagion Build - Trickster Shadow - Metamorph - Path of Exile 3.9

Essence drain was so popular at legion leauge just because it can clear monoliths very fast. In metaporh we can get legions from map device. If you wanna farm monoliths this build is very good for you. All bosses are at awakening level 8. I killed sirus with this build at level 8 but the fight wasn't good i died couple times. So i didn't put in the video.

Essence - Drain - Efficacy - Swift Affliction - Controlled Destruction - Empower - Void Manipulation


Contagion - Intensify - Faster Casting - Arcane Surge (Lvl 7) / Flame Dash / Malevolence


Flesh and Stone - Blood Magic (Lvl 17) - Vaal Discipline - Clarity (Lvl 7)


Wither - Spell Totem - Multiple Totems / Zealotry

Thanks for the write-up, I'll probably play something similar with my next character. Don't you have something better to grab with your amulet anointment ? Would you say the helmet enchant is mandatory ?

For amulet "Tranquility" is the best choice but it requires 2 golden oil. Helmet enchant is not neccessary. I was using that helmet for my soulrend char and i didn't change it but essence drain damage would be so much better for enchant.

What's the Best bow to use I'm lost picking best one.

+1 int
+1 dex
+1 socket
+2 support

or

+1 str
+1 int
+1 socket
socket more spell damage

or

+1 str
+1 dex
+1 int
+2 bow
+1 socket

or any combination such as chaos multiplier etc.

I don't what's the best but for this build this kinda bow would be very good:


+1 to Level of Socketed Gems
+% to Damage over Time Multiplier
(Useful Suffix)
Can have up to 3 Crafted Modifiers
+2 to Level of Socketed Support Gems
+% to Chaos Damage over Time Multiplier
