PoExplorer, a new shop indexer

Nice website. It's helped me find items already ^_^

I agree that register/log in should be removed until functionality is added which needs people to be logged in for.

It's not that I find it suspicious. It just gives me an uneasy feeling like something is out of place.

I like how links open in a new tab however I automatically middle click links. This causes some confusion because nothing happens when I middle click the links.
Brutus. Do you even sync?

its just easier to see the real stats on it and not only the dps.like me im currently looking for a sword with 200+ max phy dmg but with your current set up.i can only see the dps/phy dps/ele dps and i need to *guess*,if the phy dps is *** well the weapon should have around *** phy dmg and i need to go on the seller post to really see how much is the real phy dmg on it.

What's displayed in "Physical Dmg" and "Elemental Dmg" are not the physical and elemental DPS though. The physical damage displayed is just (min_physical_damage + max_physical_damage) / 2. In my opinion it's enough to decide, but maybe not.

i know that but its still easier to see the real dmg of it and not only is dps.but that my opinion.

I really hate the layout. It's too big and in-your-face, and horribly cluttered with things nobody needs, like the "facetted search"

This is really a matter of taste I guess, because if you could see my analytics, you would realize that the vast majority of users use the sidebar (facets) instead of using the drop downs for the league, linked sockets, and rarity for instance.

the sidebar on the right

Yep, this one is useless right now. If you don't have a small screen the main column is 755px wide, not that bad.

"

Also, it's impossible to middle-click any of the links in your website, which is absolutely horrible.

I agree, but it's not intended. You're using Firefox, right? https://github.com/twitter/bootstrap/issues/7118

Someone already mentioned the dps bug. Want to report another bug:

It sometime displays item that are no longer exist.

Is there a way to add a temporary shopping cart? It would be nice if I can place some items on temporary cart, then do a more detailed compare later.

For example, I want a glove with attack speed and life, I do my search with those two filtered. result is 300 items. I go though the list and found maybe 50 Im interested in. I can do another comparison, now my list is narrowed down to 5. I can go bidding.

Of course, it's a matter of taste.

No, it's not bad, but it could be better. If there's leftover space you can always use it to make the page shorter horizontally. Aesthetics don't really matter much in websites like these, you should prioritize efficiency over looks. When you have to search for dozens of items, having the "item box" be so big (vertically) makes it more annoying since you have to scroll much more.

Well, at least I'm glad to see it's not intended. Hopefully by the time you add useful features this will be fixed and I'll migrate to this site.

I can do absolutely nothing about the items that no longer exist. There's no way the index is always going to be perfectly up to date. Far from it. There is an INSANE number of thread update every day, with tons of items being sold. There are things I can do to help, but it's never going to be perfect ;)

The shopping cart is a good idea, I'll think about it!

Smaller fonts please...

I'll probably make things smaller overall when I redesign the site. Until then, you can just zoom out ;) I'll try to fight the urge of redoing the design right now and focus on features.

I want to be able to see more items at a time, less paging too.

It's fixed (in my local version), thanks for bringing this up, I had forgotten about it.

Bookmarked :)
The webpage is very good for the little I saw of it. Much better interface than the other which I've been using. That's being said I will be using yours from now on. Here is my suggestion/request.

First of all before I put my suggestion / request bear in mind that I have no idea how to code nor I understand how hard the project to do that would be, but I will throw it here and you can look at it if it can be done (without taking too much of your time)

My idea is: You have an option to put your character, class, spec into the webpage and hit a button to find upgrades on the items you already own. That would make a lot of people PoE lifes more enjoyable I believe ^^

Again I am not sure if it can be done or how hard it is, it's just an idea atm.
