i use the carnage chieftain (frenzy charges) apes from akt 2 and host chieftain (power charges) from akt 6. at the beginning they often kill themself with bloodmagic, but later in the game when you lvled the spectre gem high enough they are nearly immortal and you dont need to worry about them. just keep in mind to link them with blood magic because they have a very low mana pool

Something disturb me, even with the feeding frenzy nerf, you're still using feeding frenzy, mean, you're using only for the aggresive part? Sounds strage as it, now, don't give any damage to them, maybe swaping meat shield from zombie and spectre for feeding frenzy, and then add something like deathmark on Herald could be a good option?

Edit: I looked on wiki, Feeding Frenzy don't give more damage, but still give attack speed, cast speed, movement speed, looks fine, but yeah... what do you think about my idea?

But in the new build with 8 sentinels you are not using vitality and therefore the watcher's eye is useless. So i lost like 300 life regen in this change.

By the way, do your minions die often? I don't know why but with the 8 sentinels build they are dying much more.

not really, i mean you re-summon your minions all the time anyway and the zombies and spectres never died so far. maybe you should look for a +# minion gem lvl helmet and/or minion life on it. this helps alot

I have a +3 minion gem with level 20 minion damage, but no minion life tho.
My raise zombie/raise spectre skills are level 27, but they die sometimes to some crazy delirium fights.
I didn't looked to all the pages about this question but how about using a Megalomaniac gem with the "Pure agony" passive skills?
ok, my ice golem build is too rippy so going to try this build. Is it still viable and if so, is this beneficial?





Also, can it still kill lvl 8 sirus?

you can craft minions have 20% increased life on helm if need from bench
How does a +1 Physical + Strength skill gem necky help?
I mean, the +1 physical seems to add up right, but +1 to strength doesnt seem to show?

herald of purity is a red gem with strength requirments, so its affected by the +1 strength modifier
