CA Server Ping double

I think something is wrong with California realm at the moment. My ping is at 82-85 when on that realm and normally my ping is only 40 on it. I made sure it wasn't my network by logging into Texas realm and there its is only 66 (normal for that realm), lower than California (I live in California). Is there something wrong with the server or are others experiencing this problem? Wanted to try and resolve this before new league start,

Latency is NOT a bug.
That being said, if you want to get to the bottom of what might be going on, run a WinMTR. Make sure it is v 0.92, make sure you are running it while you play, and make sure you run it for 300-500 seconds for a good data set. Read the stickies in the tech help forum, they have all of the information you need. Judging by what I see in the trace, there isn't anything too out of the ordinary. That 5th and second to last hops are showing some rather high latency, which could be part of the problem. It hasn't affected your averages to terribly, so at least that part is okish.
I am willing to say that it's just congestion at this point, although CA has seemed to have it's fair share of issues, especially lately (last couple of months). If this keeps up for the next day or so, run another MTR. You can either post it here, or if you want GGG to take a look, email techsupport@grindinggear.com. If you are only getting latency in certain zones, go into your client.txt file (located in your POE install dir/logs folder)and look for the instance IP address of the zone you are in and run a MTR to that specific IP.
