WinMTR question about my results.

Hi,

To be honest Exilecon somehow urged me to play some more PoE even weeks earlier to the new league.

Sadly i was hit hard with lag.a lil later i stumbled into a forumthread mentioning WinMTR.

i guess my lan hardware is breaking at somepoint maybe someone with more experience can give some insight in what it actually says about my connection.

here my first result :

In your case, the problem seems to come from the connection on the second line : 10.65.192.1
You seem to have a good connection after that (average ping and worst ping don't go up by much).

The connection with your first home router (192.168.0.1) is good.
What is your network setup ?

The general method when using WinMTR is :

"

The line to check first is the last one, where you will see your worst and average ping.

Then you can look at the average column and see how it augments after each jump.

Then you can look at the worst column and see if it augments after each jump.

Then you can look at the % stat on the last line, which is the amount of packet lost when pinging the destination of your test. If this stat is not 0, you can look up in the column to see where you begin to loose network packets)

This house is a bit old so i had to improvise a lil in seting up my network.

From my PC i go into D-lan (devolo) i also dont think we can't see d-lan in my winMTR, because it should act like a lancabel ? (yes i am a absolut profesional with IT! #sarcasm)
after that i got a +10 year old router (i guess that will be my first try to replace hardware)
after that is my internet connection (cabel all the way as far as i can tell 80 Mbits)

or maybe a replacement modem from my isp ? mine should also be +10 years by now...

Yes the D-lan won't appear in winMTR, it's included in the stats with your router (first line).
The connection with your old router seems good (first line).

The problem seems to be with your connection between this router and the next equipment (second line).

Is your old router connected to an equipment from your internet provider ?
