Vengeant Cascade bugs out with Chain and does not return a projectile.

I tried using Vengeant Cascade on my Cobra Lash and noticed that no projectiles were returning. Upon testing using a bow and bow skills, Vengeant Cascade doesn't work fully with Chain. If using it on a single target, no projectiles return. If a single projectile uses up all the chains, then a projectile will return.
