Both official and poe.trade not working correctly with "% increased damage" craft
Hi,
I found out both pathofexile.com/trade and poe.trade do not work correctly at all times with the "% increased damage" craft unveiled from Leo's jewelery. Example: searching for Stygian Vises with only this craft official site poe.trade Both find nothig (I have listed several myself, so I am sure they are on the market) A similar problem with ignoring this stat is when I search for a total one element damage increased. For example if searching for "% increased Cold damage" and an item is found with % cold damage and % elemental damage and % damage. The result should be the sum of all three. official site only cold+elemental is added poe.trade not even elemental is added If I search for "% increased Cold spell damage" the results are even more curious. official site ignores the crafted mod poe.trade works perfectly, everything adds If I search for "% increased Cold damage with attack skills" official site ignores the crafted mod poe.trade works perfectly, everything adds So basically: - The the official trade does not see the "% increased damage" at all. - The poe.trade counts corrrectly but you need to know a very specific way to search (which is unintuitive in my opinion) Could the developers of both search engines please make theirs work? The community will be very grateful (-: One image for reference if the item should be removed from trade My mirror thread https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2756556 Last bumped on Sep 19, 2019, 1:44:49 PM

For your first example, the reason is you have the wrong mod selected on poe.trade: you search with explicit #% increased damage when you want crafted #% increased damage : http://poe.trade/search/unatohahitonim
This is the same on official site https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Legion/ZQ7PM7uQ though in that case it's more difficult to find the mod, possibly because of a limit on how many mods are listed coupled with the fact that an enormous amount of mods contain “#% increased damage”; I ended finding it (but not on first try, though maybe I had just missed it searching the mods list with “crafted” ;) I'll take a look at your other examples, but I guess this has to do with different “type” of mods as well (there's explicit/implicit/crafted/pseudo, where pseudo mods analyse an aggregation of all mods) Last edited by Gorkk on Sep 1, 2019, 1:57:20 PM

" For this one, the poe.com/trade search uses the “pseudo” mod, but it seems indeed bugged as it does not account for the generic “increased damage”. " Strike my “afaik” about poe.trade's total vs pseudo, it seems from this the “total” should work as a “pseudo”, and it's indeed odd that it did not work in the previous search. For poe.com/trade it's coherent with the other search, but indeed with the pseudo mod for “increased xxx damage” being bugged and not accounting for the crafted mod. Essentially it could be summarized to:

Thanks for the detailed report, we'll look into fixing up the pseudo mod.
The default search is sorted by quantity of items in the system (so more common mods are listed first) which isn't ideal for some stats such as this. A way around this is to prefix the search with a tilde (~) which will enable basic fuzzy matching which sometimes is more useful. In fuzzy mode you can use the category of the stat (explicit, pseudo, etc) to narrow down the stat you want. We'll be looking into improving the fuzzy search long-term and potentially making it the default if we can get it good enough. ✮ Web Developer ✮ View our Developer Docs ✮Last edited by Novynn on Sep 1, 2019, 8:37:17 PM

" Oh, that's good to know, is it documented somewhere? Tried it and it indeed lets you combine a search on the “meta” type and the mod itself |
