Winners of the Path of Exile Video-Making Competition

I don't get the critteria either, i can't understand the first place at all. There is no fun in his video. And why i don't see my video even in "Runner Ups"? Was it this bad to not mention it?

Well, maybe admins got their own look on everything there and i should just think twice before wasting 20 hours on montage/rendering/clipping/ e.t.c. and making something like this "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T67finar04k"
when everything you need to make third place is 1(!) gag on 3 minutes (sorry, Engineering Eternity, but it is really this bad)
or no gag's at all to make a first place. I read there was "Entertaining" critteria, and i was aiming for it. No way i got this talent, it seems.

So, how exactly you rate this videos? For that exactly criteria? Because, you know, 3rd place is longer than 3 minutes that was said as 'ideal' timing?

Well, they posted his video in the highlights. If it wouldn't be the apropiate site used for upload, telling him wouldve been the least, as his edit was time consuming as hell.

I really don't get critteria's, i got that feeling that refferee's just look at the first 20 seconds of video and turn it off after this, but EVEN THEN I DON'T GET HOW EE's video is on third place!

Hi, I'm glad you missed Path of Exile Anime Opening. I'm as confused as you.


But to summarize the story:
1º GGG puts my video as a highlight, so I think I didn't break any rules, otherwise they would not use as a highlight.

On the last business day for submissions, Vimeo, where the video was, decides to remove it because of the song I used

I talked to the manager Natalia, was sincere and explained all that happened with Vimeo and asked if I could send her the link of the same video on YouTube.

On YouTube the video was accepted even with copyright claim, the only burden was that the country "Japan" would have the view blocked.

She said they wouldn't accept my video because of the music, but since they used my video as a highlight, it already had the music.

Confused that.

Congratulations to the winners and runner-up's.

Anyone, like myself, feeling a bit down for not placing try and remember that this contest isn't a validation of your hard work and creativity. All of us put a lot of work into their own videos and regardless of some strangers opinion of it, it's still a great thing that you even took the time to create something good/funny/beautiful (in it's own right). Although I am not a believer in trophies for participation, I do believe as long as you try it means something. Keep your heads up fella's and ladies.
