Issues with steam connection

I downloaded this game in steam. Played for 26 hours total and were LVL40+. Then I decided to go here and create an account. I saw that you could link steam on this site so I did that. Now when I try to log into the game my character is gone. Idk, it is very saddening to see this kind of thing.

Steam has issues with POE from extremely slow loading to crashes. Just saying...,

Just to add more info on what happened:
Since you play on Steam you already have an account here on the website/forum. You do not need to create another account nor to link, but just login with your Steam credentials in the login page to access basically everything. When you linked, you told the system to override your real account with an empty one. If you wish to play on the Standalone version, you only needed to add an email. |
