Characters were deleted after linking steam account to my poe account here!

I'm guessing this problem has been resolved as I'm responding to a deleted account (and Zphyr) but if anyone else has found linking their standalone Path of Exile to Steam using this tool has not had the desired effect, please contact as at support@grindinggear.com like trong did and we'll fix this up for you.
