i really love toxic rain with the microtransaction for it, but the damage just doesn't compete with scourge at all i feel.
are you sure they are interchangeable or does scourge push the poison damage much higher because of higher impact hits? | |
" It should be comparable, Toxic Rain just does a lot of hits instead of big hits like SA. Ofc for Toxic Rain, you want small changes, like Dying Sun, +1 TR arrow helmet enchant, and Vile Toxins instead of Infused Channeling. My builds:

what priority for qualitying gems?

" Damage: Despair > Curse on Hit > Unbound Ailments QoL/Damage: Blood Rage > Mirage Archer > Scourge Arrow Survivability: Steelskin > Increased Duration > Dash The order of importance is Damage > QoL/Damage > Survivability. Quality everywhere else is kind of unimportant. For main body links, all remaining links have ~10% increased damage per 20 qual, so you can qual them in any order. Putting qual on wither setup is kind of nice, as it makes you place wither totems faster, and make them also apply wither stacks faster (Faster Casting > Spell Totem > Multiple Totems) For remaining quals, I would go for Blink Arrow/Movement setup, but again, not important, you want to do this only if you do not have anything better to do with your currency :d Putting qual on our Auras is pointless (it gives radius everywhere, and movement speed to hoag, what is useless for us). Any cheaper ring options? Those are quite expensive to get or craft.

" They are just generic life/resists rings, with reduced mana cost, so it should not be that bad. You can get rare boots and move some resists there maybe, and also you can move one - mana cost to amulet. You dont need -9 when you have some on amulet as well. My builds:

In PoB some skill gems(Frenzy, totems...) are only lv.1. Is it on purpose?

" Yeah, to showcase that having them above lvl 1 makes no difference, so if you dont want to, you dont need to level them at all. My builds:

First, I want to say that getting a decent helm with the enchant is crazy expensive, at least for someone that depends on luck to make currency lol/ I want to thank you for such amazing guidance, I had my struggles, but due to the effort you put into every comment and the guide I kept on, today for the first time I killed the Uber elder, I don't have much time to play Poe but I enjoyed every second of this build, died 1 time due to being extremely nervous lol! so nervous that had all my flask up got frozen and I just froze in real life lmao! anyway! I'll leave the clip. (attacking them in their inv phases too lol) By far my favorite build, super defensive, nice damage and clear and just just so nice! love you <3! For the helmet, yeah, it is very annoying to get good one, and I do not really reccomend buying/aiming for already crafted one, just pick decent high iLvl base with SA +1 enchant, and use Delve fossils to craft something decent (just going for Corroded, Aberrant and Pristine should work, to get some life and -9 chaos resistance).
