Hi and welcome to my Reave guide.
Since many people ask, Why "The Wasps Nest"?

Its the weapon in the 1-10c cost that gives the most damage.
It has less damage than The Scourge, yes but lose out a ton of Accuracy.(was buffed to 180-200 to 330-350 in 3.7) They also have crit which most of em lack. About the chaos damage, and brutality. Brutality is the best support gem by far, even with 5 poisons up, so i see no reason why we shouldnt run Brutality. They are not mandatory in any way, i just use em because they give the most damage. They might fall off if you gain alot of accuracy on other parts of your gear. The build is pretty straight forward, attack and gain rage, gain rage and become more powerful.
Gaining 50 rage is kinda diffcult in bad circumstances, luckily the new Rage support gem allows us to gain rage twice as fast which makes it prolly the most important support gem in our setup. Attack speed helps alot with the ramp up, which is why we're using Multistrike. Multistrike does not work in PoB atm, thats why it gives so low dpsgain. Since we run with brutality, we only do physical damage. We cant do any other kind of damage, not even chaos. Why not Vaal Reave? The souls will be split bewteen Vaal Ancestral Warchief and Vaal Reave, resulting in less souls/uses. Gear:

Weapons Budget: 2x Wasp nests, Bloodseekers to get insta leech at the cost of damage might be worth for some. You can run 1 of each also. Endgame: Rare phys claws. Helm Starkonja Armor Loreweave Gloves Budget: Haemophilia or Tombfist. Endgame: Tombfist 2 socket. Rings Budget:2 rare with phys damage, life and res. Endgame: Mark of the elder+Shaped ring with phys, life, res and assassins mark. Boots Rare with life, res and crafted movement/onslaught. Belt Stygian vise with life and res Amulet Rare amu with phys damage, multi and life. Lab Enchants:

Helm: Reave damage or Attack speed with blood rage.
Gloves: Doesnt matter. Boots: attack and cast speed if youve killed recently. Flasks:

The most important flasks is Diamond flask and Lion's roar, the rest is up to you.
I ran with 2 life flasks and a sulphur flask. Gems:

Reave(not Vaal) + Fortify + Brutality + Conc/Area + Rage + Multistrike
Why dont you use Ruthless, Melee phys, or Maim? Rage support gives twice the rage ramp up speed, no gem can compete with that. Fortify provides with almost the same dps gain and also defense. Why are you using multistrike, its bad according to PoB? Multistrike does not work in PoB atm, so its better then what it says. More attack speed also helps with the rage ramp up. Vaal Ancestral Warchief + Conc + Melee phys + Brutality Steelskin(lvl 15-17) + CWDT(lvl 13) + Inc duration The rest of the gems require no links. Dread/War banner, Precision, Flesh and bones, Herald of Purity, Dash, Whirling blades, Ice golem. Jewels:

Abyss: Life, flat phys to attacks and claw attacks.
Crit multiplier, attack speed and attack speed if crit is also good. Regular jewel: Crit multiplier, life, global phys, attack speed. Leveling:

I prefer to level with Frost blades early due to its clear speed in comparison to the other starter abilites.
You get Reave at level 12, it might feel a bit... slow so you can keep running with Frost blades till you get faster weapons. Frost blades + Ancestral call is awesome while leveling. You get Ancestral Call from the Tidal island quest. Leveling Uniques:

Weapons: The princess x2, at level 32 you can swap to 2x Mortem Morsu. Amulet: The karui ward can use all the way through campaign. Boots: Wanderlust, swap to Victarios Flight at level 12. Gloves: Lochtonial Caress, Tombfist at level 36 if needed. Belt: Meginords Girdle all the way up to level 68 to be replaced by a Stygian. Body: Tabula rasa Helm: Asenath mark(the Int might be hard to come by for this), at lvl 23 u can use The Peregrine anyways. There is always ye ol' Goldrim also. Quick question, what do u think of using wrasp in one hand and bloodseeker in the other one? To get the instant life leech which could be nice? Is wrasp net enough to down shaper? Build seems very nice to play! | |
" You can run with a bloodseeker if you want, you will lose abit of damage tho. I killed Uber elder with 2x Wasp nests, look at the video above. (Uber Elder is Elder and Shaper together in one fight.) | |

Nice job for UE fight ;)
Why not new pulverize gem instead of conc effect ? Because it give a little less atk speed ? With pulverize you get more area of effect and more area damage i think it's a good deal |
