3.7| Stress Free PoE - COLD HEARTED CURSER |Clear the Atlas w/ YOUR Items @ YOUR Pace (SSF & Co-op)

You'll notice some changes to the guide's layout. I'm just adding some layout ideas I wanted to include going forward. I'm doing it now to save time later if the build needs to change because of 3.8's future patch notes.

Hi there!
I'm considering using this build in the next few months in standard.
As I really like delve, how it behaves in the mine (let's say at 200+ depth)?
Do you plan to update the build for the next expansion?
Do you have any indication of end of game character expected stats like ES and DPS?
Thank you in advance!

Hey mementoludi,

Thanks for the message and the interest. I update all my guides for the next league. I do my best to have them out prior to league launch, but this will be my first league with 5 guides to prep, and my zombie guide (if you've seen any GGG announcements for 3.8) will not be a quick update. But I'll have them out there as fast. For this guide, I expect it to need almost no changes at all. Its big change was the last league.

I'll be playing this build tomorrow night and posting the session on YouTube likely the next morning. Path of Building doesn't really give any accurate DPS numbers for this build as Profane Bloom and Malediction (in the ascendancy) deal all the damage. The program doesn't really give any way to determine circumstances for those nodes.

The hard thing about delve is that Enfeeble is only cast after you're hit once. Sometimes it's a small hit, sometimes it's big. So to go 200+ in Delve you want lots of ES (7000+) just in case that first hit is hard. But the build is really meant for Delve. I suggest using at least one Quartz Flask so you can Phase through enemies and put Vortex right in the middle of them. When I'm down deeper in Delve, there are so many enemies that my ES is always recharging, enemies are always exploding, and when there's a boss, it's easy to live cause we're always moving around waiting for Vortex to expire and cast it again.

I have some pretty mediocre gear on my character and I'm at 8800 ES. So it'd be really easy to get WAY more than that.

I hope that helps. Ask anything else if you like.

Just an update for those curious, I don't really see any changes coming to this build for 3.8. It'll likely stay the same as long as the passive tree changes don't increase how many travel nodes we need too much.

I was wondering - could there be any way to do some trivial amount of self-damage to kick things off?

Hey Burnost,

Really good question. I know there are a few uniques that cause damage to one's self. I don't remember which of them "hit" and which were DoTs. I'll take a look for a couple. Good suggestions!

The skills will cast around us though, not towards an enemy if we're the ones initiating CwDT.

Still though. Good point!

Thank you, I've looked into it a bit more and didn't find anything sufficient, but maybe it's not necessary after all.

As I will play this on 3.8 (first as a league starter then gearing it up to delve as deep as I can)on Trade SC, I'm looking for some endgame options, let me know what do you think.
- A Multicrafted staff with +1 lv to gems and +2 to support gems + empower (instead of arcane surge as I can get that from a mod or another skill) could give us a lv 27/28 Vortex. The staff should give +3 to all other supports as well so you should deal unholy amounts of damage (at least that was the case with my other caster builds). Obviously you'll miss out on some sweet ES from a shield so you'll have to compensate for that.
- Taryn's Shiver will be changed to give +2 lvls to ALL socketed cold gems so that could be nice not sure if our other cold spells need levels?
- Also getting cooldown recovery on your belt should be convenient, in addition to a Lab enchant we should be able to cast it pretty often.
- Elder/Shaper mods can give you blind, hypothermia, even more cooldown rec and prolly some other stuff.
- A Wise Oak seems like some easy additional damage.
- There are some great Watchers Eye options. (DUH)

I'd be very interested in other good gearing options I might've missed.

Cheers!

I did some delving for you last night. Some of the Delving is around level 150 the rest is in the 180s. But it'll give you an idea of how the build functions in the hecticness. Cold Hearted Curser

Those are some great plans that should work really well with the build! It's not a situation of missing anything, it's just that there are an infinite amount of ways to "min/max" based on what you like the most in the build. You're missing out on some ES for the sake of WAY more damage. And your plan seems solid if you can get it. ES should be cheep this league. A staff works well with this build for sure. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you! I will watch it tonight.
I'm also interested to see some end game gear / skill tree options to min/max the build, maybe by topic, like "more DPS" or "more ES", something like that.
And thank you again for the video!
