3.7| Stress Free PoE - SLOW-MO ZOMBIES |Clear the Atlas with YOUR Items at YOUR Pace (SSF & Co-op)

Wel I didn't notice that thanks for pointing it out Katalaeia, I really need to not skim the patch notes.

Wonder if they will be adding in a replacement for Violent dead it's not like there were a great deal of good necro gems as it was. And yea if the minion damage numbers are not improved will be a pain.
Edit: with info now on news would remove this post but can't see how lol

Looks like slam will be a lot slower than before :(

Well with Ps4 still more than a week away from 3.8, I'm still increasing my learning for 3.7

What I've found is moving to T8 maps my Zombies seem to die a lot, and quickly and I don't understand why.

I only dropped Consecrated path last night (as I couldn't get 2B+2R on the new gloves) in trying to find a solution to their fragility.

I did some testing, and noticed (or at least felt) that they didn't die as quick if I turned off Temporal Chains (which I have to inorder to have enough mana to re-summon).. Is this a Mana thing? Is maintaining mana an important step I missed? (I am working on the tree to reduce mana reservation at the moment)

I'm at a loss, so any thoughts would be appreciated.

Is this Okay for SSF?

Going Zombies - Skeletons - Carrion Golem Necromancer.

Thinking Elemental Army and then doing Cold Conversion + Hatred.

What do you think?
I'm really sorry but I didn't get a chance to look. I was updating this guide and I'm on to the next one now. Sorry. I wish I had more time but things are always crazy the week before and after a league starts.

Good luck though! You can't go wrong with minions :).

I'm curious about the impact of the removal of Violent Dead/Flesh Binder, personally.

I'm holding judgment until we see what the actual minion stats are, but it feels like this could have a significant impact on clear speed.

The Zombie Slam cooldown is now in the gem. At level 20, each zombie will only have a 1-second cooldown for the skill. It's much better than it used to be. Zombies also deal more damage and have more life than they used to. They will get insanely strong past level 20 as well.

I'll take a look once I'm finished my guides. But that may not be for a day or two. Sorry :(. Maybe someone else can take a look?

All good , I've done the right thing and re-read your guide to see what I missed.. :) Much easier understanding now I have 80 odd levels behind me :P

Looks like my adventure into crafting, I've messed two things up.

1. I didn't have enough currency to get 4 Blue 2 red in chest. And incorrectly replaced Fortify with the green gem, instead of Melee damage... *I'll change this tonight and test :)

2. Again didn't have enough currency to force 2B&2R in my dex based gloves so am running with flame dash, which is NOT a melee skill.. Will keep trying to roll tonight, and settle on 2B,R,G (Cyclone) if I can't get 2B&2R (Desecrated Path).

As always, thanks for at least being an ear for my incessant ramblings

The new guide for 3.8 is up: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2627912.

The tree changed a lot and some of the new gems got added. I focused a lot more on minion life on the tree as I want the Zombies to stay alive all the time, despite their aggression, and I want Skeleton's Minions Instability to hit hard. Zombie Slam was my focus for Zombie damage. Since the Slam and Minion Instability always hit, I didn't focus on minion accuracy (which got naturally improved per minion anyway).

Thanks for such a fantastic 3.7! You were all very supportive of me and others and I am really excited about 3.8's minion changes. Thank you all for being so great.

God bless and enjoy killing everything in 3.8 ;). See you on the other side!
