Consistent Lag spikes linked to specefic Australian backhaul internet provider

I seem to be experiencing the same issue. I've posted more details in:
https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2525259

Hopefully GGG can reach out to Vocus to sort out these connection issues.
I'm in Perth and have the same issues, I had to build my charachter full on defence because I can't do anything for like 3-10 seconds at a time. I'm also with Mate but in Perth.

I've managed to temporarily work around this by connecting to a VPN based out of AU.
This seems to have resolved my issues with the enormous rubberbanding/spikes although now I have to deal with a consistently higher ping, so it's not ideal.

If you're eager to play, I'd recommend trying something similar.

This is an option. It does work. However, as you mention, the higher consistent ping is less than ideal. There are two other options however; you can tether a mobile phone and use the 4g connection to play PoE. It actually doesn't cost too much data. The other option is those ping tunnel services, such as wtfast and Pingzapper. They are significantly cheaper than a full blown VPN, if you want to subscribe to one, and they also come with much longer free trials with no data caps.

I'm sick to death of this issue and would really love to see a proper solution soon, however. It has been months. I really don't want to change ISP. But I'm getting very close to doing just that.
Good day !

Did anyone received any answer from GGG about this issue ?
It feels like they are just ignoring the Australian community, as another post metionned they solved the issue in Germany.

Are they just ignoring us until we switch our ISP ?

It is highly irrespectful and unprofessionnal.

I'd rather leave POE as my ISP at least tried something.

They seem to be just straight up ignoring us.
