Zone reset timer way short

Several times now I've gone back to town using the portal, and while selling the zone I was just in ends up resetting on me. I know its not taking me 8 minutes to sell everything since I just pop in hit the vendor and head back out. Also have not been able to tell if its just the timer is shorter than what it should be or if maybe the timer is for some reason going while I am in the zone and it just resets when I pop out of it.

Edit: Also this has only started happening to me since my Duelist died due to an unfortunate lag hiccup.
