Damage return to melee attackers.

I hope this wasn´t posted yet. I´ve put on some items with the effect that returns a flat amount of damage to the melee attacker. But when i got shot by ranged mobs they were dealt that damage too. If I understood that skill wrong, I´m sorry.^^
