Wave of conviction solution: traps or mines

In order to counter the whole wave ends when you cast a new one, play traps or mines. Probably not as good as gc or arc barring any major nerfs but still... Imagine all the glowy waves!

Keep in mind that this patch is dedicated to self-casting. So far they've unveiled the new chaos and holy skills, but you're still missing something - the new support gems: Unleash, Spell Focus and reworked Storm Barrier. Good chance they're aimed squarely at self-casters, so keep that in mind.

Also, I don't think the Wave ending thing will be a problem. You cast once from a distance and move on to kill all trash mobs, and get in close and cast repeatedly to kill bosses. If you're used to Freezing Pulse, this is nothing new.

Or maybe the will nerf Triggers, traps, mines and totems to make handcrafting better,.... wait for patch notes
If their intention is to create another power creep nerfing something isn’t something you want to see. I always rather see everything else catch up before nerfing something
I think the idea behind Wave of Conviction is that you set it off and let it eat packs then when you get to bosses you spam it into them at close range to hit more often.

So it has different properties if you cast slow or fast.
Based on how they pitched the skill, the correct way for them to balance it is to let the cast speed on it scale so high that it can't possibly be more dps to play traps or mines.

If they fail to do that and the skill even *works* with traps and mines, then yeah, another ggg balance fail.
