Hi community.
Some days ago Quin69 tried a few uber labs and did a review of one of his encounters. who the fuck does fonts without a warding flask and its 2h hammer izaro he literally can't kill you until you stand still just walk in a circle until a font comes up, flask, kill it repeat.
The clip is pretty funny but at some point the play becomes so questionable that it almost feels staged, there are enough bum clenching moments in PoE without making a ballsup of the easy stuff lol |

" There's nothing to fucking be proud of going into a complex mechanics-driven ARPG blind. The worse-than-worthless community that Quin brought along was used to D3 where there was literally no way to even imagine complexity in your mechanics. Make numbers go up, equip your ancient (now primal) legendaries, mash buttons. If you even want to be able to play PoE the same way ("mash buttons"), you need to put together a truly insane build. Either you figure out what the fuck you're doing, or you die. Now, when you're dealing with e.g. early-betrayal-league syndicate bullshit, which was both functionally invisible and could oneshot everyone in hardcore, there were things worth complaining about. " Exactly. I think quin himself is annoying at most, but "don't backseat game" is a perfectly fine position for a streamer to have. You can and should play a game however the fuck you want. But the enormous shit-tier community he dragged with him is just making everything fucking worse. | |

Like he is really really bad at the game and that's why it makes him so entertaining and that's fine that's good but his fans refuse to acknowledge that.

Maybe you just don't get what being entertaining means. " Right, I'm sure everyone loves reading wiki pages and watching youtube vids for hours on end before starting to play. The guy's a dad, streaming PoE 12h a day, every day... doesn't have time to "educate" himself about the game, and decided to learn as he goes, which also makes for very good entertainment for his viewers. " Dude got to lv97 on his first HC-SSF character. Completed his atlas, killed shaper several times, as well as red elder. Never skips syndicate, including in T15 multi-damage mods... All of that with a fucking MELEE skill. Really bad indeed. As for his "shit-tier community he dragged with him", they're the only reason PoE has still any visibility on twitch currently, so how about you take a fucking clue ? Pretty amazing to see this level of toxicity about a guy who clearly doesn't deserve it, and doesn't do you any wrong... Oh wait no, not *that* amazing on these forums, actually. |
