you shouldn't be having problem solo'ing boss's at all, what level are you?

I would recommend iron will + blood magic + lifeleech + ek (+add fire with 5link). not using a chain or fork makes your single target dps skyrocket. You can also use add fire instead of life leech when farming trivial content. You just need a good +projspeed wand if you're not using projspeed gem, 30%+ will make you hit the side of the screen.

Iron Grip actually doesn't work with EK as of 0.11.1e =(
