That does sound quite bad. I would get that checked asap, just to make sure it's nothing serious, or if it is to get it treated. Though I guess experts for dinosaur medicine are rather difficult to come by.

If you are in real pain, then you should just go to a doctor and get it fixed asap. If it is not that kind of "pain". Maybe try a go on the other side once.

I think it's a sex injury. Doctors see all kinds of stuff. A whole unit in med school is devoted to practicing the non-reactive face.
