[3.5] Crit Winter Orb Assassin [All Contents][Uber Elder Deathless]
 Hello This build is a Crit Winter Orb Assassin build. (Not HC Build) Leveling used the Freezing Pulse. After the 70 Lv, I used the Winter Orb 6L(Tabula). Winter Orb is more powerful than you think. WO DPS = Avg Hit * Hit Rate * Number of projectiles BEST Helmet Enchantment: Winter Orb has +2 Maximum Stages Why? Increase your Hit Rate from 3.13 to 3.50. ※Edit: Dying Sun is a great help in increasing DPS. But You need to remove one other flask. For that reason I didn't use it. I need a Curse immunity. Sweet build man- that damage is really impressive for just a week into league. I'm definitely going to be switching off my arc totems and maybe speccing into something similar to this- just need to build up a pile of currency first before I start blowing it.
A couple of suggestions and questions for you about optimization (if some of these questions come off as critical, I'm not meaning to be a jerk, just genuinely interested as I'm a number crunchers kind of person that really likes to minmax any build I play) 1) Damage boost suggestions: a. Dying sun gives two extra projectiles AND area damage- both which help scale winter orb. I think this might just be flat out best flask for winter orb in terms of dps. b. Wise oak- 15 pen and some added in defensive boosts are really solid for ele skills in general- obviously it requires some gearing around it to get the pen. c. +2 stage helmet- it seems like the build will scale even more with this- but this enchant is expensive atm. Your minus cold res helmet is still really nice. 2) Why assassin? I feel like this build would potentially scale nicer as crit elementalist (not the crappy hardcore build that zizaran is going that everyone follow)- that class is pretty op at the moment compared to other options. I haven't done anything with PoB and trying to understand what the differences are-I know you lose out on going the whole void battery route- but good weapons and/or shields can also be very good for scaling crit based spell builds- along with some of the new crafts like % damage gained as extra chaos- I'm guessing elementalist gives assassin a run for its money in terms of endgame dps. 3) Why Shadowstitch compared to some of the other options out there? Loreweave seems like it would just be better for some extra damage, stats, and defenses? If you are worried about the life gain then you could also try to swap a lightpoacher helmet into this build- I think that helm would be pretty solid for winter orb. " 1) I didn't change the flasks(dying sun & Wise Oak) because I'm satisfied with the current dmg. I thought about the enchanted(+2 Stage) helmet, but it's not cost effective. 2) I think it was easiest to start with Assassin. void battery is expensive but easy to get. It's difficult to envision a build with rare items. 3) It's the cheapest. I bought Shadowstitch(+2 duration gems) on 35chaos. It's a miracle that you can get 6L and +2 socketed gem option at this price in a few days after opening the league. thanks for your feedback. | |

" It's very simple. Use a Crafting Bench ---> At least One Blue Socket (pc: 4vaal + 4chrom) 4B + 2G I succeeded in four times. |
