is delve over?

was in the middle of killing my first uber elder when today it said that there was 5 min. left in delve... got the boss down to 1/4 hp then got booted, i signed back in 4 hours later and im back in delve league, searched all over forum for any indication delve was over officially, but i found nothing, and everything in my account now looks to be like its still delve league active.... so why did i get booted on my 1st time about to kill uber elder!? and why did it say it was over?

PC is over. We play all the way up to console release. Should be on the 11th around 2-4 pm PST.

Maybe you read wrong the message and it was just that the servers went down for maintenance

There was a small hiccup when the PC servers went down for maintenance to end their league. The Xbox one will remain active until the deploy of Betrayal next week. | |

If you were playing at the time, a message came up out of the blue saying essentially "Delve will end in 5 minutes". Unlike other times when such notices didn't end up happening, the screen froze after the 5 minutes were up (at least mine did).
All I could think at the time was "how the heck could I have missed the warning that Xbox was going to be different this time?" I see on the general forums that some new players (particularly those who joined after the last notice) were very much surprised. I now comment in Forums with my Xbox account:
