Lag and Freezing

I have noticed that these issues have become worse over the last few Updates and not better making playing the game almost impossible,i have a decent graphics card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 so im sure it has nothing to do with my system not being able to handle the graphics but of late the game crashes or freezing for over 3 minutes for no reason is making me seriously want to stop playing which is sad because i have invested over £100 to show my appreciation of POE crashing happens when i try to go to Delve or even TP-ing to a new area any help advice or workarounds to fix this would be gladly received Thank you
