Meanwhile, Shagsbeard will never have to wear mitts ever again.

Damn I'd love to shake your hands for that pleasurable walrus grease.

Btw, Sexualobster, anyone?

We're not quite ready to give a firm date that players can plan their vacation days around. It's most likely that we'll confirm this date with our official announcement and countdown timer.

Too bad most people that work full time have to give at least four weeks notice for leave.

It'll come off if your skin comes off. Unless it seeps through, in that case nope.

Releasing new content simultaneously with a league so we can't enjoy said new content for a couple weeks. When will you ever learn?

Hmm, I don't get it. What stops you from enjoying the new content for a couple of weeks?

Typically, with big expansions, the leagues are toned down so that the focus is on the new content. Given that a lot of players only play in leagues, for the fresh start and the challenges, it wouldn't make sense for them to release an expansion without a league.

Holy crap some players in this community keep thinking their demanda are constitutional rights. Dude this game is F2P and its devs still release high quality shit faster than Pablo Escobar's coke trade. As a wise man once said, you can't be a begger and expect to be treated as a client. Obviously you have the right to discuss features--what good is a community if you cannot do that, but don't just assume that the other 99% of the playerbase think the same way.

Except no one made any demands, and you're brown nosing because you think someone pointing out the potential of, say, the Story being even longer than it is now is a way to prevent access to end-game content is the same as a "demand"...

Nice inquisitive demand he's got going on there, right? No one else in the thread made any demands either...>_>

It's not just this thread, and you know it. Elitism is something that runs in some player's veins. The devs know more about the game than you do (well, most of the time), and sometimes, these demands cannot be met because of technical or business reasons. They cannot compromise the game's state because a couple hundred players do not like a specific change.

Either way, most of the complaints I've see are along the lines of "this delve mechanic of escorting a cart stops muh uber fast ultra clear speed" and "this new gimmicky skill gem does not look like it can be scaled very well therefore it's shit". Can I propose a solution? Don't play delve. Don't play that new skill. You are not forced to do either. Genius, right?

As for the story mode being longer, I'm not sure anyone has said that the 3.5 expansion will increase the length of the campaign to start with. It's most likely a Masters rework or update that adds more engrossing side missions (with cool rewards hopefully) that you can 100% skip if you so desire.

Plus, I actually like The Fall of Oriath's ten acts as I'm sure a lot of others do.

(HOLY SHIT, I HAVE AN OPINION DIFFERENT FROM YOURS..... YOOOOOOOOOOO!)....

Just remember LOTS of players have a hard time logging in on Day One of new league/patch/update. I always keep reading "I took the day off and I can't play".

So maybe take your holidays a week after it starts. So I would aim for end of December like you said. Gives you a nice long Christmas break, and if it does start earlier, you will not have the frustrating of trying to log in on your holidays and not be albe to play.
Id say you dont need to be playing right at the start of a new league. Everytime a new league starts the game is riddled with bugs due to not enough playtesting and the servers arent happy, either. So just take your time when it suits you, not the league. A league is long enough.
