Leap Slam improvements

So i'm trying to figure out how I can make leap slam feel more responsive in my Ice Crash build. I've used it in other builds and it seemed so much faster, is using Kaoms Roots with the lack of increased movement speed factored into leap slam movement?

You're probably looking at "Attack Speed" differences. You'll want Faster Attack Speed affixes to improve Leap Slam responsiveness. (ie:Leap Slam is an "Attack.")

edit-add: With a fast "Attack Speed" build, I remember being able to Leap Slam like a madman, stomping on mobs heads repeatedly. Combining that gem combo in a shaped glove with Attack Speed affixes was pretty darn funny. :)
