Can't Run PoE For More Than 5 Secs B4 Exception Crash

Basically the title summarizes it.. Just starting today whenever I log into PoE after a few seconds I get an exception error popup reading:

'"art/particles/monster_particles/flameblast/idle/fireball_flame3.dss": Failed to uncompress texture file'

I've tried just staying in town and it crashes, tried immediately going to hideout and it crashes, tried using a waypoint it crashes. This just started today after I updated to the current patch. How do I fix this? I currently can't even play because it crashes after just a few seconds...

If this is still happening, try removing any MTX you may have on and see if that helps.

I ended up having to uninstall the game and reinstall to get this to go away
