Chance to ignite with Ancestral Protector?

Hi,
My build is not a totem focus & my Crit Chance is only 10%, but I want to ignite enemy. If I link Combustion support to Ancestral Protector totem, how reliable is it for the totem to ignite enemy? Thanks, Last bumped on Sep 22, 2018, 12:48:22 AM

At sufficiently high levels of the support gem, you can assume, that an enemy hit by the totem will be ignited most of the time (if the totem has fire damage). If you need to be sure, you can look for other sources of chance to ignite.
