Lost my skill tree full reset

I wanted to take use of my full passive reset after testing a few things on my current build and I clicked on a skill it brought up the dialogue box saying if I change my skill tree I wont get my passive reset and I click cancel and it still eats my full passive tree reset

hmm, I have done this many times without loosing the respec.
Are you sure you did it correctly?
