Delve map resetting constantly

I don't know what's going on with the delve map. Every time I move to a new map point my map resets even though I don't leave the zone. Same with if I die even though I'm coming right back in and it hasn't been 8 to 15 min. Also it gets rid of any loot that had dropped. This makes delve really not fun of you have a nice item drop and die to darkness but then you can't even go back to pick it up because it's gone. Please fix this issue delve is already challenging without the all risk no reward aspect if you die. I'm not taking about having to redo a map punt if you fail the mini encounter I'm just taking about exploring the darkness etc.

Basically use the blue waypoint and use the A button or Y button on the icon in the lower right to go to your delve campsite. It will take you back to you last position, with loot on the ground.

If you return via the Delve teleport system, things will reset.

Thanks for the suggestion unfortunately that does not fix the issues I'm having. I do not understand why when the crawler is moving from camp to camp or when you die you lose your map and items.
