Audio Cutting Out

I am trying to troubleshoot this problem that I am having with the ingame audio.

It seems to be cutting out before finishing. And when there are several monsters attacking, it just sounds annoying... It only seems to be when monsters are attacking. I haven't had it cut out during an item drop or dialog.

I have tried changing the audio channels to the different levels, but it doesn't seem to effect it. Drivers are current as well.

Has anyone come across this and found a fix for it?
