Make devles respect graphic settings like shadows

Yep and in Delves you're forced to use some of that new lightning and shadow stuff and they just ignore it. Graphic Settings are there for a reason and not to make a feature that ignores them.

So after 23 days I get a reply that they seemingly will NOT work or forward on this problem because I made the mistake to say "Me and others" instead of "ME ALONE AND NO ONE ELSE"... Are you really serious? This problem gets not forwarded because I said that others have this problem too ?

I lost friends and guildmates playing this game because of this.

How in the world can this be, that after over 23 days this has NOT been taken into the to-do list and not being worked on? How can this be, that I report something for multiple users that has nothing to do with old drivers or "different hardware setups" when a game just plainly ignores some graphic settings ?

Others I know with this problem are not writing to the support because of what I get as reply. When I ask them to write too, all I get is "why should we write? they already ignore you completely and give you totally useless answers and deny to work on this".

Get this finally settled.

When I set shadows to off, the new lightsystem to off, I WANT it OFF and not forced on me.

I can't even count anymore how often the game killed itself while in delve just because of this.

Thanks for getting back to us.

Please note that Delve encounters are heavily based around the darkness mechanic, and therefore the lighting and shadow features inside Delves cannot be completely disabled.

So we can look into this further, could you please send us a Dxdiag report? To generate a dxdiag report, please follow these steps:

1) Press the windows key + r on your keyboard to bring up the Run interface
2) Type dxdiag into the run dialogue box and press enter
3) When the dxdiag application starts up, press the Save All Information button in the bottom right and save the report to your desktop to email through to us

Putting a bit sarcasm and enragement into the mail seems to work a bit better... I got a reply this time a bit faster and the first time with something that goes into the topic of my ticket, instead of something comeplete useless.

Sadly it's an answer that is way different and disappointing then expected...

Instead of respecting the graphic settings for the sake of people not having power machines, Delve is allowed ON PURPOSE to use the new light system including shadows to show off, as I feared. So instead of using the standard light-radius effect, which would completely suffice,we are forced to torture our system with something that is not needed, just to have the devs show off.

Do I accept that? NO!
I am still on my viewpoint: If I have options I want them to be respected.
If I want shadows, I turn them on. If I want the new lightsystem I turn it on.
I can't use the new lightsystem effectively and the same applies for friends and guildmates. Not everyone has the horsepower to sustain that and the result is overheating hardware, crashing (bluescreen due to heat from shadows/light) computers, closing games from similar problems.

This way of thinking is really bad. Why gating a feature that is really awesome behind special hardware needs that are absolutely not needed. We do not need this lightsystem. Yes the darkness is fully okay and I like the corefeature but you can fully do that with the standard lightradius, as the darknessdamage does not come from fancy effects, it's just everywhere in the delve and flares and the cart just cast an aura that is like our auras, possible without any visible effect.

Please let us, on small machines, finally play the delve in all it's glory without fancy stuff we do not need.

If they do this for the entire game i won't be able to play anymore, my normal FPS is something between 30-40 in some areas and in the mines if i get 5-10 FPS (i am not kidding) its already a lot for me because of the immense lag... My experience in this league so far is:

>going in the mines
>select a place to go
>start the mine cart
>my game freezes and i just die like a sitting duck.

Also there is SO MANY particles in the azurite encounters, i really would love a option to disable them lol
