if you blow up a wall and don't go back to the crawler, does it brick the secret zone? I feel like I've blown up a wall on the path but it didn't go anywhere (didn't go back to the crawler after that) and then checked back later and couldn't find another wall to blow up



It looks like there's a wall here, but I can walk right through it

1) Does that mean you can permanently miss these rooms if you've already escorted the crawler and left the instance?

2)How do you determine the squares and grid?

3) Any recommendations on upgrades prior to actually running this?

Nope. While the layout of each individual map may change, the fact that there is a hidden loot room there, or a wall to explode, seems to stay regardless.

2)How do you determine the squares and grid?


I'd quickly noticed that there was a grid at play here by looking at the background of the map. On close inspection, you can see the background texture is split into regular squares, with which you can determine the grid.

3) Any recommendations on upgrades prior to actually running this?


I am not sure exactly when is the point at which you need to start upgrading dynamite damage is, but at just 20 Azurite a throw, just paying attention to the wall health as you go should be enough.

As for the light radius and darkness resist, that's simply a matter of how comfortable you are about dying vs how long you want to grind azurite + how deep you are.

Still think the system is dumb. Too random (even in PoE standards) and you'll have to waste sulph and flares and most of the time for nothing, for most of the time it will be on the last chance and you're out of juice and then it resets and it's all been for nothing.

CBA for stupid video game mechanics anymore, too old for this shit.
