"It's likely because Charged Dash is a melee skill. Melee skills can't be used with wands. That's the first thing that comes to mind. "Ha ha. It happens to all of us. I did the same when I first unlocked the skill while leveling. It took me 10 minutes to figure out that I was leveling with a wand...and I made the guide :). Hello everyone :)
One of my favourite things I love about POE is that there are ENDLESS options available for build ideas...whether you're planning around a unique, an ascendancy, or simply the love of an idea...the options seem infinite. My Path of Building is loaded with build ideas. I probably spend more time "playing" PoB than I do PoE :). Now having a build explained as thorough as this one requires a lot of time at the beginning of every POE expansion to ensure that all the details are relevant, accurate, and having all the links, filters, and videos up to date. But I am also excited to help people understand POE and as a result I check my guide often to try and reply as quick as possible. It's a lot of time, but I love doing it. That being said, I only have so much time life allows me to give to POE :). The last few patches of this guide have received a lot of positive support...an unbelievable amount of it. (Thank you very much!) It's encouraging to know that there are POE fans that enjoy the same POE experience that I play. Many of the compliments I have received are geared towards the guide layout and explanation for new folks, the casualness of the build's gameplay, and that there are no specific items needed for the build...among others. But not everyone likes minions, slow motion enemies (but they should), or they just want to try other styles of skills. I've had quite a few requests to do other builds. And if you do that math ;), adding the above paragraphs together, I'd love to make another build or two that follow the same restrictions and goals as this one (not needing any uniques (though they're always welcome), easy to play...and something that I can play within my restrictions). But of course, if I make more guides, it'll eat into the amount of time I have to support this one in future expansions. And I want to make sure to have the time for everything I put forward. So with all that being said, what skills, themes, and/or ascendancies really interest you? If I was to make another guide, what would you hope it would be? Auras? Poison? Righteous Fire? "Who cares, just help me kill stuff"? I have some pretty strong ideas I think I'd like to implement, but if there is an overwhelming amount preference to a specific idea I'll happily do it! So let me know in a private message what you'd like to see or try (private message so we can keep this guide specific to this build). (And just FYI, I'll be paying attention to this guide until 3.5 is released. This specific post isn't me bailing on this guide by any means. If this is your first time using one of my builds, I'll be posting a 3.5 version of this build after the 3.5 patch notes are released. I'll put a link to the 3.5 version of this build in these 3.4 build notes and forum replies so you'll know where to go if you want to keep the build up to date.) Anyway, let me know! hello again, well i finished all the quests am lvl 70. i started to do maps
(lvl 1-2) and i seem to dye to easily. am i too low for maps yet? | |
"Hey Kingx. No, 70 is not too low for maps. Without seeing your details, there are many reasons death is coming frequently. You may have left all the life nodes on the passive tree for last, you may not have high life on your gear, you may not have 75% to all your resists (you need a total of 135% resists as the game gives you a negative 60% to all resists when you end the story), you may not be keeping your defensive skills up (remember to use Charged Dash to keep Fortify and Enfeeble up...they are our primary defense outside of health). I currently have around 135% life on the tree and about +750 to maximum life (total) on my gear. It's brought me to 5000 life at level 91.
