How do you think your Magma Orb Elementalist compares to Mathil's popularized Inquisitor version? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wDhz8akIXMM I want to play magma orb but not sure which build to follow. " The builds are pretty similar ... if you compare inquisitor against elementalist I would say elementalist has better clear speed and inquisitor maybe a bit better single target. Then there is Mathil who always builds to max the dps and handles most encounters with skill & knowledge. I am not such a good player so I have to make my builds more tanky and balanced. Hey Bashtart, Currently level 88 on Betrayal softcore. I decided to stick with Elementalist (over Mathil's Inquisitor version) and follow your guide closely. Only difference is I much prefer Flame Dash over Shield Charge. Lightning Warp was okay, but Arcane Surge pairs better with Flame Dash. I don't like linking Arcane Surge to Lightning Golem. Death Rush ring because of all the Chaos damage going around in Incursions & Syndicate encounters. I'm sitting at about 1ex 50chaos. Of the following options, wondering what is the next best purchase I should make? I'm struggling on high-level syndicate bosses (like everyone, I assume). -Warlord's Mark ring (~1ex) -Better rare chest and the fusings to 6-link it (total ~2ex) -Shaper gloves (?) -Helmet w/ Magma Orb Enchant (~2+ ex) | |
" I think I would go for a warlord‘s mark ring because it will help you survivability and sustain a lot. Next for the 6link. Additionally get quality on flasks and buy a q20 magma orb to level it. Really fun build. Im currently starting but I have one big problem. Everytime I face strong elite mobs with fire resistance or elemental resistance I'm getting destroyed and doing nearly zero damage. Am I doing something wrong or can you tell me what do I need from this build to solve this problem ?

" Yes the encounters are my biggest problem. The beasts from Einhar have both elemental and fire resistance most of the time. Sometimes I'm not even doing enough damage to break the red ones shield on tier 1 maps :/ |
