You can't dual wield bows (how would that work anyway?) and, as far as I know, you can't dual wield wands. So basically, no ranged weapons. Though, wands are one-handed, so I would need confirmation. I can't test it, and I have not played long enough to just know that.

Also, Dual Wielding isn't a skill, it's just a way to use weapons. Do you perhaps mean "Dual Strike"?

It is possible to dual wield wands, no idea what the point of that is though.
i wanna duel wield bows.....epic fire rate...."hey can someone come pull these strings for my i got this!"
for me* ;)
*Duck tapes 2 bow together and puts a clip attaching the strings together* Ahah i can akimbo now...or is it just a fat bow with 2 strings?
The point of dual wielding wands is to increase your spell damage even further ( since many wands have increased spell damage). You also attack faster than with just one, should you happen to need to (elemental resist), it can be useful.

Still, unless the dmg increase is huge (such as wands with +levels to an elemental branch) a shield is probably better and safer.
