Season One, Race Event 27: One Hour Solo

Well, I suck at racing, but not at having nice drops for my hc stash:

Meh, 38 min merveil.

Hate how much RNG is involved with getting that ilvl 9 shortbow to transmute +1 bow gems as soon as you get it because if you do you basically win right now.
Got the bow in River Crossings



I still don't think poison arrow is that great but +1 bow gems is just too strong on it.



For feedback, I feel like Western should be a 20 zone instead of 21. Then again, this really only affects the 2 hour races by changing this. 1 hour races, western would still be best.

I must be doing something wrong, where do people find the balance between running and leveling? Seems like if I run, I don't get much if any exp, only from anything that is blocking my path. but if I stop to level, I'm stuck running around giant mobs a few levels higher than me.
Can't really blame my rng, even though I rarely have good luck with it (been finding a fuckton of chomrats lately though), though today I didn't get any MS boots, nor did nessa have a coral ring for me, blah.
Any tips?

actually im #1 shadow, did not have a +1 bow gems or ms boots only thing i found was a quicksilver in ledge lucky me.

Reaching 30 points has now become a little less exciting...

17.5, #30 and 15th Shadow. No special drops. At western at 0:50. I see improvement. :) Sadly, it won't be for long with the update comming soon, should have tried Shadow earlier. :P

I hate the stupid low drop rates. I want a global drop rate like 4 players for every party size.



5 Chance Orbs but I had a single TP for merv no big pots. I can't even turn them into ID scrolls to buy potions/TPs

Great situation after 40 min.

Instead of reaching level 18-19 I had to farm coves.



Sure I could firetrap merv but that would take 10 minutes and in 10 minutes I would have ended level 15 at best.


Similar thing happened to another friend who got into cavern of anger first and couldn't kill merv because he lacked TP and medium potions.

Grats, but was talking about rangers haha, I'm assuming #1 or #2 had +1.
